Most chocolate companies start with a business plan. Ours started with a nine-year-old in a family kitchen.
Cru is the founder, head taste-tester, and reigning king of King's Chocolate. What began as an afternoon of making treats at home turned into a simple idea he refused to let go of: treats taste better when they're made with heart — and everyone deserves a chocolate that feels a little bit royal.
Small batches, big standards
Every King's Chocolate treat is made in small batches with his family. That's not a marketing line — it's the only way Cru will do it. Small batches mean every bar, every bag of gummies, and every chocolate pop gets checked before it's wrapped. And nothing ships until it passes the most important quality control step in the company: Cru tastes it and approves it.
Why "King's"?
Look at any of our wrappers and you'll find the answer: a teddy bear wearing a crown. The name is a reminder of what we're going for — chocolate fit for a king, made for everyone. Our signature bar, The Crown Bar, comes wrapped in gold for exactly that reason.
What we make
- The Crown Bar — rich Belgian chocolate in four flavors: Belgian Milk, Caramel, Peanut Butter, and Dark Chocolate
- Sweet treats — chocolate-covered Oreos and Royal Gummy Bears
- Chocolate pops — solid chocolate on a stick, with hand-painted detail
Where we're headed
The Crown Bar has already been served at New York Fashion Week — not bad for a company run by someone who still has a bedtime. But the mission stays the same no matter how far the chocolate travels: make it small, make it right, and make it with heart.
